The mission of the Radford City Schools Partners For Excellence Foundation, Inc. is to support and enhance the educational experience of the Radford City Schools students through business and individual partnerships.

Stephen T. Cox
RHS Class of 1985
Chairman – Steve is a Chief Scientist for Hollingsworth & Vose in Floyd, Virginia. He and his wife, Lee Wright Cox (’85), have one son, Andrew (Drew) Cox, a 2013 graduate currently teaching World Civilization II and Government at Radford High School. Steve was a member of the Radford City School Board for four years and served as Chairman in 2013-2014. Steve wants to enhance education and continue the long tradition of excellence in the school division by providing every student with the tools they need to succeed and making Radford City Public Schools the benchmark for student performance and facilities.
R. Brad Harvey
RHS Class of 1979
Growing up in Radford, Brad knows what a special place the city really is. He jumped at the chance to serve on the Foundation’s Board in order to support the academic, arts, and athletic programs for the school system. Brad believes that in today’s world, more than ever, financial partnerships are necessary for the students who will be our future leaders. Married to Stephanie Grubb Harvey, they have four children: Bryn, a University of South Carolina graduate currently living in Charleston, SC., Morgan, a law student at Elon University, Riley, a junior at James Madison University, and Nick, a sophomore at RHS. A long- running member of the Chevrolet Society of Sales Executives and a member of GM Mark of Excellence, Brad is the owner/operator of Harvey Chevrolet Buick Cadillac in Radford and Harvey Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Floyd, Virginia. He served on the Board of Directors for the Radford Chamber of Commerce from 1995-2002 (President, 2001) and is a member of the First Bank Advisory Board.
Alicia Dobbins Prioleau
RHS Class of 1995
Alicia is a 1999 Radford University graduate with a BS in Social Work from Radford University. A proud Bobcat and dedicated community member, she is married to Pierson Prioleau and is a full time mother to three active boys: Pierson, Parker, and Pace. Alicia believes the Partners Foundation will help fill a financial gap by providing all Radford students with diverse and quality learning environments. Many important educational experiences happen not only in the classrooms, but also on a field, track, court, or stage. These experiences play an irreplaceable role in teaching skills and values that are essential for the personal growth of our students. Alicia is also a member of the Radford High School Boosters Club and the Radford City Schools Gifted Advisory Board. She is the Children’s Church Coordinator and the Décor and Program Committee Chair at First Baptist Church, West Rock Road in Radford.
Mark F. Williams
RHS Class of 1975
As a partner in Price Williams Realty, a real estate development, construction, and property management firm in Radford, Mark understands the business of building and maintaining schools and wants all Bobcats educated in quality facilities. He and his wife Lucy (Class of 1978) have roots in this community, and Mark believes our school system provided a strong foundation for his own future. He has witnessed the passion for teaching and the commitment to our young people by our educational staff. Their desire to make our schools the best this city has to offer is something of which he wants to a part. By supporting the Partners Foundation, citizens, businesses, and alumni who want to make a difference can help our teachers and coaches mold the next generation of Bobcats. The Williams have two daughters, Jamie (2005), an attorney in Charlotte, NC, and Amanda (2012), a 2016 graduate of Virginia Tech.
Dr. Becky Harris Greer
As a former Superintendent of Radford City Schools and one of the organizers of the Foundation, Dr. Greer continues to provide support to the Foundation for the benefit of the students, the schools, the school division employees and the community.
Dr. Greer (University of North Carolina-Greensboro graduate) started her career as a school secretary in North Carolina. She has been married for 30 years to George E. Greer (University of Connecticut graduate) who recently retired from major league baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals. They have three children-Jonathan (Wake Forest University graduate) serves in law enforcement, Chezley (University of North Carolina-Wilmington graduate) serves as a special education teacher, and Chip (Appalachian State graduate) who has served as Captain in the United States Army with two tours of duty in Afghanistan. Dr. Greer is also delighted to be “GiGi” for five grandchildren.
Robert F. Graham, Jr.
RHS Class of 1987
Rob is the first and only graduate of the Radford City School System to also be named superintendent of this outstanding and prestigious school division! He earned his B.S. from Emory and Henry, M.S. from George Mason University, Ed.S from the University of Virginia, and currently is working on his Ed.D. at East Tennessee State University. In 2006 Rob returned to work in his hometown, serving as principal of McHarg Elementary School before moving to Central Office as Assistant Superintendent during the past five years. He is excited and thrilled to be the superintendent of Radford City Schools and is grateful for the support he has received from the Board, faculty and staff, Radford community, and his family. In addition to his superintendent duties, Rob looks forward to working with the Foundation Board in order to help our school division reach its vision of “Excellence in Education, Every Student, Every Day”. Rob and his wife, Kristine McBride Graham, have three daughters – Logan, Sophie, and Madison, all Bobcats who enjoy various extra-curricular activities.
Lee Jordan Slusher
RHS Class of 1968
A proud generational Bobcat, Lee is a retired Radford City Schools English Teacher and currently serves as Chair of the Radford City School Board. She understands that good facilities are a precursor for student learning and reflect our city’s priorities for our youth. She believes we share a community responsibility to provide opportunities for our children to be the very best they can be as they discover new and exciting things about themselves. Investments in their education and well-being will have far-reaching effects and lasting rewards. Lee, a graduate of Radford University, lives in Radford with her husband Jim. They have three grown children, all graduates of Radford High School and enjoy spending time with their seven granddaughters and very first great grandson.
Josh Smith
RHS Class of 2011
Born and raised in the Radford community, Josh understands the positive impact that hometown schools can have on a student’s future successes, both personal and professional. After graduating from Emory & Henry College in 2015, he moved back to his hometown to begin a career in finance and to help contribute to the area that gave him so many opportunities. In addition to his responsibilities with the Partners for Excellence Foundation, Josh is currently employed with Ameriprise Financial and active with the Young Professionals network in Radford and Montgomery County, as well as a contributor on several boards and commissions in the local area. He is also an assistant coach for the Radford High School football team and is the co-founder and broadcaster for Bobcat Sports Live.
